Moon Gazed Jewellery’s bespoke pieces are designed and crafted by hand, reflecting the personality of both the owner and artisan.
Working from her home in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside at the foot of the Ridgeway from which she takes inspiration, Lisa Wallis uses ancient and contemporary methods of smithing, shape and forging over local Sarsen stones and Granite.
Using tools, knowledge and techniques passed down by family members over her time of growing up in the shadow of the chalk downs. Incorporating ethically sourced stones and silver including the reworking of old and antique she harnesses working with the moon phases, nature and the seasons for inspiration and guidance in her work.
Creating Moment Mori pieces has also become a passion, incorporating ashes of our dearly loved ones (of human and animal kind) who have passed over to their next journey, into silver pieces.
Ashes are welcomed with love, respect and talked with daily while they spend time with Lisa until they are reunited with their loved ones in their beautiful new form.
